About this project
Metropol Park brings together a restored 1930s dark-red brick building and contemporary additions to form an elegant residential setting in the heart of Berlin. AS Studio developed detailed design proposals and interior concepts that respond to both the historic fabric and modern interventions, including the integration and enhancement of an existing wall artwork within the exposed brick.
The original artwork was reinterpreted as a key architectural feature, framed and elevated within the interior to create a striking focal point. Alongside this, the scheme focused on refined layouts, material palettes, and bespoke elements - resulting in a cohesive design that balances heritage character with contemporary living.
