AS Studio is seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Intern / Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our London-based architecture and interior design studio from late August. This is an initial 2–3 month work experience opportunity for a recent graduate or Part 1 Architectural Assistant looking to gain hands-on experience across a range of residential and commercial projects. There may be an opportunity to discuss future employment based on performance and studio requirements.

Previous professional experience is not essential, but enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to develop new skills are important.

What You Will Learn & Support With:

• Learning how to prepare and edit architectural drawings using AutoCAD
• Assisting with the development of 3D models in SketchUp
• Supporting the creation of visualisations and presentation material
• Gaining experience in preparing drawing packages, schedules and project documentation
• Assisting the team with planning, tender and construction information
• Taking meeting notes and recording actions where required
• Supporting general studio administration and organisation
• Learning how project files, folders and records are managed within a professional practice
• Assisting with project coordination and day-to-day studio activities
• Supporting the company's website and social media content

Software & Skills:

Experience with the following software is beneficial but not essential. Training and support will be provided where appropriate:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Rendering software (preferred but not essential)
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
